{"id":635,"date":"2016-08-03T21:10:54","date_gmt":"2016-08-03T21:10:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/butchireland.com\/blog\/?p=635"},"modified":"2022-03-14T12:59:44","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T12:59:44","slug":"the-spirit-of-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/butchireland.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/the-spirit-of-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"The Spirit of Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night I read a wonderful story about the Paralympics\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theodysseyonline.com\/why-you-should-care-about-the-paralympic-games?ref=fb\">written by Elyse Snyder.<\/a>\u00a0In her article she quotes American Paralypmic swimmer Bradley Snyder who said &#8220;Olympians show you what the human body is capable of, Paralympians show what you the human\u00a0<em>spirit<\/em>\u00a0is capable of.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With the Olympics starting this week, I wanted to share a few photos of some of my favorite athletes who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.besttechie.com\/which-type-of-broadband-plan-is-best-for-you\/\">compare broadband<\/a> internet. For background, my daughter, Maria plays with the Houston Junior Hotwheels basketball team in Houston. She has been practicing with them since March and they begin their season in September.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you enjoy these pictures from one of the team&#8217;s offseason workouts.
